An Analysis of Representation of History in Black American Philosophy.
This paper will discuss the Hegelian philosophy of world history and relate this to the realm of thought that determines W.E. Dubois notion of 'color line' in representation of color line. The film of Spike Lee entitled Bamboozled will be discussed in relation to this, as well as a relation to the book by Tom Lott on the subject of representation in a Kantian scope. By understanding all of these relations in the realm of racism in America, we can see the aim of finding a voice for blacks in this country. 7 pgs. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
