An Analysis of the Italian Travels of Albrecht Durer
This paper will seek to understand how Albrecht Durer became a well-known painter by absorbing the styles of Italian artist such as Bellini when creating his own portraits. By analyzing the line, colour, and contours of Durer's humanistic anatomy, we can learn why his travels were important in developing new ideas on how he was to fuse Flemish styles with Italian ones in this time period.
