This paper is a review of the book Canadian Policy toward Khrushchev's Soviet Union by Jamie Glazov, analyzing the era of the Cold War, specifically back to the 1950s and 1960s, for the way Canada responded to the threat of the Soviet Union and of global Communism, some of the personalities involved, and the various political outcomes in terms of relations with other nations and effects on the internal government structures and operations of the Canadian government.
