This paper presents a brief SWOT analysis of the McDonald's corporation. It concludes that the company's greatest strengths are its brand image, its global reach, and immense financial resources. Its weaknesses are its inflexibility and inability to adapt easily to changing tastes. The opportunities lay primarily in a rapidly growing consumer market in developing countries, and an undertapped market for adults in developed countries.
