This study will highlight the strategic position of Mars Incorporated from an historical, current, and forward-looking stance. The primary areas of focus will be the three problem areas listed above. Chapter 1 will provide a backgrounder on the company that will serve as a reference point for the entire study. Chapter 2 will take a detailed look at the company's marketing strategy in terms of the problems as listed above. Chapter 3 will follow with an application of theory to the problems, and Chapter 4 will briefly list several alternatives.
