This six-page undergraduate paper is about public awareness campaigns sponsored by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). The paper has different material in it for awareness campaigns that have been developed by the federal or state government for a natural disaster, disasters such as severe weather, earthquakes, hurricanes, or floods. This information is used to devise a local (county or city) campaign. At the end, it is shown how to use this plan, and how to target the audience. Also, it shows how to target them economically. The information in this paper is about the evacuation sight of the city of Myrtle Beach, South Caroline. It gives a brief summary of what the sight says, of exactly what to do, from the preparations at the start of hurricane season, to exactly what to do in case of an actual hurricane. 6 pgs.
