Human Behavior and Police Work: How a Better Understanding of Behavior Aids the Police.
This paper addresses major themes in psychological training for police work. Law enforcement is desperately in need of a better understanding of the psychological dynamics of crisis intervention. The paper enumerates areas in which the study of psychology and behavior can augment or drastically change law enforcement officers' approach - in particular, interrogation, scene analysis, and crisis counseling. 8 pgs.
