This paper compares and contrasts the portrayal of Communism in three specific films from the Cold War Era. These films are "The Manchurian Candidate", "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers", and "The Front". The elements of Communism that are discussed are those of a "limited realization" of the horrors of the Communist threat and the paranoia that accompanies Communism. 5 pgs.
