An Analysis of the James Bond Film: The Graphic Design of Robert Brownjohn
This paper will analyze the graphic art aspects of the James Bond films: From Russia with Love and Goldfinger through the artistry of Robert Brownjohn. By showing certain clips of the film, we can see how Brownjohn creates motion through words projected onto women's bodies. In creating this affect, he created a modern view of how opening credits were used in the sixties, and are still in use in the techniques of modern cinema.
