British Literature Analysis of Faustus Malvolio and Edmund.
This is a literature analysis of various characters. It discusses the three characters which are: Faustus from Christopher Marlowe's book "Doctor Faustus", Malvolio from Shakespeare's text "Twelfth night" and Edmund from Shakespeare's text "King Lear". The paper explores these three characters as disrupters of social order and explains that what motivates them and why do other characters react to them as they do and to what level does each one earn our sympathy and why? The second part of the paper compares and contrasts the two great writers of their times, who are Sir Philip Sidney and William Shakespeare. It compares woo, flatter, wheedle, complain and crow of both the writers and their techniques used in their work.
