Nursing Administration Case Study: Letting Mrs. Jones Go
This paper briefly addresses a scenario in nursing as to how best to treat a person in a management position who does not complete their duties. The character of Mrs. Jones was recommended by another hospital out-of-state, but in the current hospital setting her performance has slipped dramatically. This has also had a negative impact on the staff under her management. The solution posed in this paper is to first try and find a reason for her performance, and if improvement does not occur than to let her go.
