A Comparison of Stoicism, Epicureanism, and Neoplatonism.
This twenty-seven page undergraduate paper compares Stoicism, Epicureanism, and Neoplatonism, three major philosophies of Rome. While the first among them dealt with how an individual must interact with society, and righteousness, Epicureanism concerned itself principally with how an individual must lead his life with pleasure. The third, Neoplatonism was a religious form of Platonism, and was the only among the three that dealt with a higher form of immaterial reality. 27 pgs. Bibliography lists 24 sources.
