Based on the reading of a course handout, (Conolly, L. W.. The Pornography Article,) this paper discusses Connolly's arguments in a discussion of pornography as literature. The basic premise adopted in this paper is that censorship is not an effective response to pornography. The paper evaluates the idea of whether or not pornography is "harmful" to society, and suggests that pornorgraphy is more harmful to the language and practice of consensual sex. 8 pgs. 2 sources.
