The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was fabricated through Executive Order on July 1, 1973 when respective agencies with drug enforcement responsibilities were aggregated. Over the years DEA has stayed committed to constructing partnerships with domestic law enforcement agencies to magnify effectiveness in marking the world's primary traffickers. During the administrations of the last three presidents Reagan, Bush and Clinton and the current president notable changes have transpired in how the available dollars are spent with a swelling share of the federal dollars being funneled to the criminal justice system.
