Manic Creativity Some researchers in the field argue that artistic creativity is in fact a bi-product of manic depressive sensibilities, the result of heightened senses, manic focus and unique perceptivity. For these scientists and the patients who also adhere to this belief, eradication of the symptoms of the disease could actually hinder the patient’s quality of life.
