The Experience of Discrimination: A Buddhist Monk in America
This paper describes an interview conducted with a Buddhist monk visiting a university in northern Indiana, and his experience with racial and religious discrimination, both in his home country (Tibet/China) and in America. The paper also compares his experience of discrimination to that of other Asian Americans and Asian visitors or immigrants to America.
