This paper will discuss the political and social aspects of Nicaragua that concern Leptospirosis- a form of tuberculosis- and how this country dealt with an outbreak five years ago. It will seek to convey the problems of disease in this country and to make an evaluation on how this country gets aid-perhaps from the United States or other United Nations affiliates- in making it a safe place to live under the threat of this health problem. By addressing who is doing what about this disease, w can see how the country is making changes to stop these infectious diseases and make the country habitable for its citizens. 3 pgs.
