This paper will seek to examine and rectify an Ad in the Star Magazine for September 30th, 2003. The Ad, taken from page 50, details the use of a drug called Phentermine, and how it used to help women lose weight. By studying the visual, stereotyical, and information-based incentives for this product, we can evaluate this in advertising terminology.
